A VARIETY of events were held over the Easter weekend in Hornsea.

Bunny Run

One of the most talked about events was the ‘Bunny Run’. The Hornsea Foundation who organise the Hornsea Biker Event had some volunteers dress up as rabbits before heading out to deliver Easter eggs on motorbikes. The bunnies posed for photographs along the way – anyone spotting one of the bunnies and getting a photograph could claim a free Easter egg from Knights of Hornsea.

Yorkshire Cancer Research

Meanwhile Saturday, April 20 saw Hornsea’s Yorkshire Cancer Research fundraisers holding an Easter coffee morning and drawing their grand prize draw.  The draw and coffee morning at The United Reformed Church raised £2292.61.  This is on top of the garden party at The Old Hall last summer with the two events combined seeing the group raise £3789 for the charity in the last year.
